Lacrosse fans can make the Rochester Knighthawks the top sports team in Rochester by voting for the 'Hawks in The Best of Rochester 2012 City Newspaper’s Readers Poll. The Knighthawks advanced to the Final 4 of the Readers Poll after receiving enough votes in primary polling.
Fans can vote for the Knighthawks under the Top Sports Team category. Click here to vote and find out who made the Final 4 in each of the 101 categories that make up this year's Readers Poll. During the month of August, thousands of Rochesterians cast their votes in the online Primary Ballot.
Voting will close Wednesday, October 3rd, at 5:00 p.m. Check back with City Newspaper on Wednesday, October 17th, to find out who YOU picked to be named Best of Rochester 2012.
The Knighthawks captured the 2012 National Lacrosse League Championship on May 19th in front of a national TV audience on the CBS Sports Network. The win marked the third Champion’s Cup in the team’s 18-year history.
